Here's the promo for the fifth VGT at Penfield High School, and the final tournament that I ran before graduating. Unfortunately, we had some time constraints while making it. (In fact, I basically directed it, and Kyle Schenk did most of the work on this promo.)We got permission to show this at the end of the school day so we would have time to finish it up. We didn't have time to record the dialogue, so I was to do an on-air voice-over for it. However, apparently Mrs. Fucking Deback decided to ignore our time, and just as we were about to tell people to turn on their TVs, she started talking on the announcements, which freaked us out. I tried to talk over her, and basically no one heard anything. Therefore, this is the unaired, undubbed promo.I think it's easy to see what our direction for this was: "Take it to the next level" was our slogan for this tournament, and we decided to show old games, followed by the slogan, then updated games. It was also the tournament at which we showed FFVII: Advent Children (and Red vs. Blue Season One), so we featured FFVII and the song One-Winged Angel from said game. I think it would have been well-recieved if Mrs. Deback didn't fuck it up royally.
