Bernie had always known his German grandparents were the reason he was much bigger and different than the other kids at St Margaretha school. However when the Queen of Prussia demanded little orphan children,Bernie soon found himself swept into a Great War where your friends could be your enemies,your enemies could be stern but honourable and everyone wanted your hoard.Soon the Queen of Prussia and her witting( and unwitting) minionswere defeated and banished by the Army of Good,aangelic race from the west.Whilst the ogres,trolls,giants and dragons licked their wounds,a mutiny broke out amongst the victorious good guys,and the westernmost divisions came under the influence of the charismatic Leader.The Leader used his powers to form the Army of Evil,and soon had Japan,North America,Russia and Germany in his iron grip.Only the shattered remains of the Army of Goodness in Great Britain and scattered outposts were left to oppose the Leader.They were swiftly dealt with and the Leader dominated the world unopposed for 6 years.Back in parts of Northern Germany and Holland the Queens forces stuck to themselves,and did nothing as all became ash ,sulphur and Hell.However the Army of Darkness finally realized the ultimate goal of the Leader was the extinction of humanity.So the Queens Army rose up and began using the cast off weapons of the Army of Goodness to fight the bad guys.The leader fled and the child eating ogress (the Queen of Prussia) found to her annoyance she was now hailed as the saviour of humanity.Suffice it to say she and her monstrous army realized going back to doing what they did naturally wasn't a good political move.The ogres,trolls,giants and dragons were treading on eggshells.
