A Staffordshire man recently shocked local authorities by attempting to dump refuse (plastic bottles and cardboard) on the moon. Sources claim that he was protesting against the infrequency of collections provided by the council and so took it upon himself to use the Catena Yuri crater chain as a landfill site. When asked about further plans, the man, who wished only to be known as DJC, stated that by 2013 he planned to be sending his old Vimto bottles directly into the sun, adding that these would have to be night missions so as to stop the bottles from melting on the way.
