I found my koi floating on his side after being injured by a Blue Heron. I brought him in and set up a hospital tank. After several weeks, his injury (a stab close to his head) healed by he still floated on his side. I researched the internet and found some people make harnesses to correct a bad swim bladder. I created mine with corks and 2 plastic rings from a gallon container.He now swims and is improving daily. The picture is from the second day with the harness.
