GO! GO!! GO!!! The Michael Clayton Show
THE CONTEST OFFICIALLY KICKS-OFF ON APRIL 1, 2008. THE MICHAEL CLAYTON SHOW is a weekly video contest with cash prizes of $25 for first place, $15 for second place, and $10 for third place. You MUST HAVE a Paypal account in order to receive your prize. There are no strings attached. I will announce the particular subject matter for the week (example: "Best Poetry Reading," "Best Joke," Best Commentary," "Best A Capella," "Best Impersonation," "Best Political Discourse," "Best Song," Best Book Review," etc) on Monday at any time between 7 - 7:30 PM. You may post your video in the video response section immediately. It may be a video you've already made or one you make during the week. The video must be posted no later than 10 PM on Thursday of that week. Cut off point will be the first 150 relevant videos, so you've got to pay close attention to THE MICHAEL CLAYTON SHOW between 7 - 7:30 PM on Mondays (any video off subject WILL BE deleted). The announcement could be made at one minute after seven, at ten minutes after seven, at eighteen minutes after seven, or at twenty-nine minutes after seven. The word "GO" will posted instead of the words "THE MICHAEL CLAYTON SHOW" in the video title section. When the first 150 videos have been posted, no more responses will be accepted. No video can be shorter than 30 seconds or longer than 4 minutes. All videos will be judged on merit. The contest is open to EVERYONE on the planet, however, since I only speak English, you must use English. The top three winners will be posted on Sunday no later than 4 PM. This contest is not open to professional video producers. I'm looking for good content, first and foremost. If you're just a boy with his webcam or a girl with her webcam, it doesn't matter. What you can't be in any shape, form, or fashion is an entertainment industry practitioner. Now, this doesn't mean that I'm looking for schlock. Make creative, sharp, merit-worthy videos. Make them as close to perfection as you can. College students are welcome. The man or woman on the street is welcome. But if you've worked in the entertainment industry or are currently working in the entertainment industry this contest is NOT OPEN to you. It's a matter of keeping the playing field level.
