Here's the story Story: Shikamaru joined the sound village 4 years ago (age 12) and now is having to live with the regrets of it (age 18). Having killed innocent people from his own and other villages he is rejected by his own dad and people. He wants to show the leaf village that he isn't a traitor anymore but no one will believe him except his friends who have their doubts as well. Shikamaru plans on proving not just to the leaf village but to himself that he can be welcomed back to the leaf village like a hero. He bets on it.So do you bet on it? The story is actually from a fanfic I am writing with a friend.
