Zabuza a seemingly invincible opponent offers his mask to anyone who can defeat him in combat. It is said that all of Zabuza's power is derived FROM the mask and so anyone who wears the mask possesses all of his amazing powers and abilities. However he will only allow the two strongest people from all the land to fight against him for his mask. (however, little does anyone know... that Zabuza IS actually the mask... a living parasite that attaches himself to a host and uses that individuals abilities and powers, along with his own, to accomplish his twisted goals... His latest Victim, Haku a female Ice-element user with super speed and incredible combat skills. Zabuza's main ability for control is making his victim WANT to fulfill their "masters" will, and his will this time is to acquire a new host body)All across the nation a competition was held and two opponents arose from the ashes... Sasuke (blue guy) and Neji (guy with white eyes), these two seemed almost as invincible as Zabuza defeating all their opponents without mercy, they quickly made names for themselves...Naruto (blonde guy) found out about the competition AFTER the two challengers were selected to undergo combat against Zabuza. So now his only option is to knock off one of them and try to sneak into the finals...Both orphaned at very young ages, Naruto looked up to Sasuke as a big brother because Sasuke was the best fighter around, and Sasuke looked after Naruto as only a big brother could do for his younger brother, However as they grew older Naruto's fighting ability vastly improved and thus he earned Sasuke's respect as a fellow fighter...The 2 of them then became rivals for almost everything...This is where we begin our story...Naruto meets the girl of his dreams a few days before the Tournament is suppose to being. Its Haku! they hit it off and both fall in love with each other...However neither of them knows why the other just so happens to be in the area at that specific time...Naruto is there for the finals in some Grand tournament...While Haku is the one hosting the Tournament....A few days later, when Zabuza (the mask) takes control of Haku and begins the tournament the 2 contesters arrive, Naruto is the 1st to get there... seeing Naruto again Haku regains control of her body, shouts at Naruto "go away leave here now" and attacks Naruto to try and scare him away from the fight about to begin....Naruto recognizing the attack attempts to dodge it...(however he only manages to make it worse...for now the attacks have all hit vital points of his body and he is slowly bleeding to death...)Naruto then argues that he has every right to be there since he defeated Neji in 1 v 1 combat and has earned his right to participate in the fight...Zabuza regains control over Haku's body just as Sasuke arrives... He explains the rules to the two fighters (winner takes all) and announces " very well...shall we begin?"Naruto and Sasuke vs. Zabuza (this battle is happening in PRESENT time...)Naruto vs. Neji (this battle is a FLASH-BACK, allowing us to see how Naruto got into the finals)Naruto vs. Sasuke (another FLASH-BACK, this one shows how Sasuke secured his position in the finals)As the fight begins vs. Zabuza, Naruto (dizzy from lack of blood) slips on the ice and knocks himself out, and lays on the ground bleeding to death...)Sasuke makes a joke that Naruto would have only gotten in the way, and he and Zabuza go 1 v 1 for awhile...However during the fight Haku keeps trying to interfere (she wants to try and save Naruto)... Zabuza, (annoyed) decides it is time to simply finish off Naruto and get him out of the way... then he (using Haku's one handed hand signs) activates her super speed and tries to kill Naruto...Sasuke... realizing what Zabuza is trying to do... jumps in the way of the attack and is dealt a fatal blow... just as Naruto awakens...Naruto (surprised that Sasuke would do such a thing) asks "why?...why did you save me?" to which Sasuke simply responded, " I don't know....my body...just moved...."Naruto (frustrated) begins arguing that he never asked to be saved and that it was foolish for him to have sacrificed himself... to which Sasuke simply adds "haha...I knew you would just get in the way..." and he dies...Naruto (now overwhelmed with emotions) goes into a rage and uses all his power to kill Zabuza...However.... Just before the final blow... Zabuza is destroyed but his power over Haku isn't completely gone so she stands there idle as her mind slowly awakens from the spell...and in his Rage Naruto doesn't realize who it is he is about to kill....Haku wakes up...the second before the final blow... the last thing she sees is the man she loves about to kill her...
